A couple of years ago, we made a decision that would reshape the rhythm of our home, our routines, and—most importantly—our hearts. In the chilly month of February we welcomed not one, but two Great Danes into our family. Enzo and Rey came bounding into our lives with the kind of joyful energy that can't be ignored. From the moment their paws touched our floor, it felt like they had always belonged. Raised in the picturesque hills of the Oregon Coastal Range, they grew into athletic and stunning companions.
They’re massive, yes. Towering, graceful, and impossible to miss. But what continues to amaze us isn’t just their size—it’s their hearts. These two dogs are the most giving, attentive, and emotionally tuned-in companions we have ever known. There’s something deeply soulful in the way they interact with us. A look, a nudge, the way they plant themselves beside you as if to say, I’m here. I’ve got you.
